VANTA PRESENTS THE NEW YORK STATE ESPORTS LEAGUE
Vanta is pleased to announce its partnership with ELITE Gaming Arena, and collaboration with Stony Brook University, Syracuse University, and the Long Island Gaming League, growing the future of scholastic esports in New York. The league will commence September 30th, kicking off a dedicated league for New York high schools and middle schools.
Boston, MA – 06/08/24 - Vanta Esports, a leading force in Scholastic Esports across the United States, is thrilled to announce a collection of strategic partnerships and collaborations in the state of New York. Vanta will oversee all league operations and platform management, ensuring students have a safe and secure place to game. ELITE will provide access to its state-of-the-art gaming facility, allowing students to come together IRL to compete. All of this will be executed with the endorsement and support of existing powerhouse institutions, giving kids a clear path forward on their esports journey.
These collaborations mark a significant step forward for scholastic and collegiate esports in the state, giving students an opportunity to test their skills not only online, but in a LAN environment. Vanta is pleased to announce that the Fall Finals will have an initial live scholastic showcase, with a fully in-person Finals event occurring in the Spring Season 2025.
For educators in the state of New York looking to give their schools the full esports experience, the NY State Esports League will be the place to compete. Featuring Rocket League, Overwatch 2, Fortnite and many other game titles, the NY State Esports League aims to provide opportunities for all students to compete at the highest level—for free.
